Abate Eye Hospital Observes World Sight Day with Awareness Rally and Pledge to #LoveYourEyes

Perinthalmanna: Abate Eye Hospital, Perinthalmanna, observed World Sight Day with an impactful Awareness Rally and public engagement program aimed at promoting the importance of eye health and early detection of vision problems.

The event began with a flag-off ceremony led by Mr. P. Shaji, Chairperson of Perinthalmanna Municipality, who inaugurated the rally and emphasized the need for community awareness on preventable blindness and vision care.

Following the rally, a formal gathering was held at Abate Eye Hospital. The Presidential Address was delivered by Er. Muhammed Kutty Arikuzhiyil, Co-Chairman of Abate Group of Companies, highlighted Abate’s continued commitment to public health and social responsibility.

The Keynote Address was delivered by Dr. Adv. A. Samsudheen, Chairman and Managing Director of Abate Group of Companies, who spoke about the role of technology and awareness in achieving universal eye health and the importance of initiatives like #LoveYourEyes.

The event also featured felicitations by Abate’s leading professionals, including Dr. Rajesh, Dr. Faheem, Dr. Shameer, and Dr. Reshma Padmaram, along with Mr. Sirajudeen, Chief Academic Officer, Abate Group of Institutions; Dr. Shef Shaf, Chief Operating Officer, Abate Eye Hospital; and Dr. Abhijith S.N., Clinical HOD, Abate Eye Hospital.

The program concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Mr. Muhammed Rafi, Branch Manager of Abate Eye Hospital, Perinthalmanna, expressing gratitude to all participants, staff, and the public for supporting the cause of eye health.
